South Carolina Network Roleplay Community Terms of Service
Effective Date: June 22, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
Welcome to South Carolina Network Roleplay, also known as SCNRP. These Community Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the South Carolina Network Roleplay FiveM server, Discord server, website, CAD system, forums, social-media pages, applications, events, staff systems, and other SCNRP-operated services (collectively, the "Community Services").
By joining, accessing, applying to, communicating in, or participating in SCNRP, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. You also agree to follow all posted server rules, Discord rules, departmental policies, standard operating procedures, announcements, and reasonable instructions issued by authorized SCNRP staff.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or participate in SCNRP.
2. Relationship to the Storefront Terms of Service
These Terms apply to participation in the SCNRP community and do not govern purchases made through the SCNRP storefront.
Purchases, digital in-game perks, delivery, refunds, chargebacks, and other store-related matters are governed separately by the SCNRP Storefront Terms of Service. A purchase does not exempt any member from these Community Terms, server rules, staff discipline, bans, or other moderation action.
3. Private Community and Access Privilege
SCNRP is a privately operated online roleplay community. Membership, whitelist status, department access, Discord roles, in-game access, and all community privileges are granted at SCNRP's discretion.
Access to SCNRP is a privilege, not a right. SCNRP may deny, limit, suspend, revoke, or terminate access to any Community Service when reasonably necessary to protect the safety, fairness, reputation, technical stability, or operations of the community.
No member is guaranteed permanent access to SCNRP, its services, roles, vehicles, departments, applications, events, or features.
4. Age, Eligibility, and Account Requirements
By participating in SCNRP, you confirm that:
You meet the minimum age requirements for Discord, FiveM/Cfx.re, Rockstar Games, and any other platform used to access SCNRP.
You are legally permitted to use the Community Services in your location.
You are using your own accounts and are responsible for all activity conducted through them.
Any information you submit to SCNRP, including applications, forms, appeals, support tickets, and reports, is truthful and accurate.
You will not create or use alternate accounts to evade discipline, restrictions, bans, or access requirements.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has authorized your participation where required.
SCNRP may request reasonable verification of account ownership, identity within the community, or eligibility when investigating account-sharing, impersonation, ban evasion, fraud, or other violations.
5. Platform Rules and Third-Party Services
SCNRP operates through third-party platforms, including but not limited to Discord, FiveM/Cfx.re, Rockstar Games, Tebex, CAD providers, hosting providers, and social-media platforms.
You must comply with the applicable terms, policies, and community guidelines of every third-party platform used to access SCNRP. SCNRP rules supplement, but do not replace, those platform rules.
SCNRP is not responsible for third-party outages, account restrictions, bans imposed by third parties, lost access to third-party accounts, payment-processor decisions, platform policy changes, or technical issues outside SCNRP's reasonable control.
6. Community Conduct
SCNRP expects members to act maturely, respectfully, and in good faith. You may not engage in conduct that harms other members, disrupts the community, undermines fair roleplay, creates a hostile environment, or damages the integrity of SCNRP.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
Harassment, bullying, intimidation, stalking, threats, or targeted abuse.
Hate speech, discriminatory conduct, slurs, or content targeting someone based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics.
Doxxing, sharing personal information, threatening to expose personal information, or attempting to identify another person without their consent.
Threats of real-world violence, self-harm encouragement, swatting, false emergency reporting, blackmail, extortion, or illegal activity.
Posting, sharing, requesting, or distributing malware, phishing links, stolen accounts, token loggers, malicious files, pirated material, or unauthorized software.
Impersonating SCNRP staff, another member, a real public official, a government agency, a law-enforcement agency, or another community.
Spamming, flooding channels, mass-pinging members, abusing tickets, posting excessive disruptive content, or misusing voice channels.
Advertising, recruiting, promoting, or soliciting for unrelated servers, communities, products, services, or social-media accounts without authorization from SCNRP ownership.
Knowingly making false reports, filing retaliatory reports, falsifying evidence, manipulating screenshots or recordings, or abusing the appeal process.
Encouraging, assisting, organizing, or concealing another member's violation of these Terms or community rules.
7. In-Game Conduct and Fair Roleplay
SCNRP is built around a fair, immersive, and enjoyable roleplay experience. Members must participate in good faith and follow all current roleplay rules.
Members may not intentionally ruin scenes, force unrealistic outcomes, exploit loopholes, or use outside knowledge to gain an unfair in-character advantage.
Examples of prohibited in-game conduct may include:
Cheating, hacking, exploiting bugs, duplication, spawning unauthorized items, or using unauthorized modifications.
Using external tools, overlays, scripts, macros, or software that provides an unfair advantage.
Metagaming, powergaming, fail roleplay, combat logging, stream sniping, or intentionally disrupting active scenes.
Evading law enforcement, staff action, medical roleplay, or scene consequences through disconnecting, respawning, relogging, or other means.
Misusing emergency-service vehicles, department equipment, administrative tools, restricted vehicles, or command privileges.
Falsely representing a department, rank, position, certification, or staff authority.
Interfering with another member's legitimate roleplay scene without a reasonable in-character purpose.
Knowingly abusing server mechanics, CAD systems, dispatch systems, economy systems, or other community features.
SCNRP staff may pause, reset, correct, or remove themselves from roleplay scenes when necessary to enforce rules, resolve technical problems, investigate reports, or maintain fairness.
8. Department Membership and Leadership
Department membership, command positions, certifications, rank, whitelist access, and specialized roles are privileges granted by SCNRP and the applicable department's leadership.
Members of a department must follow both the community-wide rules and all department-specific policies, procedures, chain-of-command expectations, training requirements, and activity standards.
Department leadership may recommend discipline, suspension, demotion, removal, retraining, or other corrective action. Final authority over department access and community-wide moderation remains with SCNRP ownership and authorized senior staff.
Members may not use a department position, staff role, or in-game authority to harass others, gain personal advantage, bypass policy, retaliate against criticism, or interfere with a fair investigation.
9. Staff Authority and Cooperation
Authorized SCNRP staff may enforce these Terms, investigate reports, issue discipline, remove disruptive members, restrict access, collect relevant evidence, and take reasonable action to protect the community.
When contacted by staff about a report, investigation, appeal, technical issue, or rule concern, members are expected to cooperate respectfully and provide truthful information.
Members may disagree with staff decisions and use available appeal processes, but may not harass staff, argue in public channels, evade staff instructions, retaliate against reporters, or encourage others to interfere with an investigation.
Staff decisions are made based on the information reasonably available at the time. SCNRP may revisit, modify, or reverse a decision if new and credible information becomes available.
10. Moderation, Discipline, and Bans
SCNRP may use progressive discipline when appropriate, but is not required to issue warnings before taking action. Severe violations, repeated misconduct, ban evasion, threats, malicious activity, serious harassment, or conduct creating an immediate risk to members or the community may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal.
Possible enforcement actions include:
Verbal or written warnings
Mutes, timeouts, or communication restrictions
Removal from a roleplay scene or event
Temporary loss of Discord, CAD, department, or server access
Removal of roles, ranks, certifications, perks, or whitelists
Department suspension, demotion, retraining, or removal
Temporary server or Discord bans
Permanent bans from one or all SCNRP Community Services
Revocation of storefront-related perks where permitted under the Storefront Terms of Service
Discipline may be based on conduct within SCNRP. SCNRP may also consider off-platform conduct when it credibly and materially affects the safety of members, SCNRP's reputation, community operations, staff integrity, or the ability of members to participate safely.
11. Ban Evasion and Circumvention
Attempting to bypass a restriction, suspension, blacklist, or ban is prohibited.
This includes using alternate Discord accounts, alternate FiveM accounts, alternate Rockstar accounts, VPNs or other identity-masking methods for evasion, another person's account, false account information, or asking another person to obtain access on your behalf.
Ban evasion may result in the extension of an existing punishment, permanent removal, and action against any account reasonably connected to the evasion attempt.
12. Reports, Evidence, and Appeals
Members are encouraged to report legitimate rule violations, safety concerns, technical exploits, harassment, or staff misconduct through the official SCNRP reporting or ticket process.
Reports should be submitted honestly and in good faith. When possible, reports should include relevant evidence such as video, screenshots, timestamps, player identifiers, CAD information, or other factual details.
SCNRP may use screenshots, video clips, server logs, Discord messages, voice-channel reports, CAD records, tickets, applications, audit logs, and other reasonably available information to investigate a matter.
Knowingly submitting false, altered, incomplete, retaliatory, or misleading evidence is a serious violation and may result in discipline.
Appeals must be submitted through the official process, if one is available. Appeals should be respectful, concise, truthful, and supported by relevant information. An appeal is an opportunity for review, not a guarantee of reversal.
13. Privacy, Logs, and Recordings
SCNRP may collect and retain information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and moderate the Community Services. This may include:
Discord user IDs, usernames, and role information
FiveM, Rockstar, Cfx.re, Steam, or other platform identifiers
IP-related or connection-related information available through platform or server tools
Server logs, join and leave history, moderation records, and audit logs
CAD records, applications, support tickets, reports, and appeals
Messages, screenshots, videos, and other evidence voluntarily provided to staff
Purchase-related account information as necessary to verify or deliver storefront items
SCNRP uses this information only for legitimate community purposes, such as moderation, ban enforcement, technical support, account verification, fraud prevention, incident investigation, and compliance with applicable law.
Members should understand that public Discord posts, in-game voice communications, and roleplay sessions may be observed, logged, streamed, clipped, or recorded by other members. Do not share sensitive personal information within Community Services.
SCNRP will not intentionally sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect members, enforce these Terms, respond to lawful requests, investigate serious misconduct, or comply with legal obligations.
14. User Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you create, subject to any rights held by the platform through which it is posted. However, by posting, uploading, streaming, submitting, or sharing content within SCNRP, you grant SCNRP a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, archive, and share that content for community operations, moderation, documentation, promotion, and event-related purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share any content you submit to SCNRP. Do not upload copyrighted, private, stolen, or otherwise unauthorized material.
All SCNRP-owned branding, documents, graphics, server configurations, scripts, custom assets, vehicle designs, department materials, media, and other original community content remain the property of SCNRP or their respective rights holders.
Without written authorization, you may not copy, leak, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer, claim ownership of, or use SCNRP materials outside the community.
15. Community Name, Government Roleplay, and Disclaimers
SCNRP is a fictional roleplay community. Any in-game law-enforcement, fire, EMS, government, judicial, military, or public-safety activities are fictional and are for roleplay purposes only.
SCNRP is not a real government agency, law-enforcement agency, emergency service, court, legal service, or public authority. No member may represent SCNRP, its departments, its leadership, or its fictional roles as real-world authority.
SCNRP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, FiveM, Cfx.re, Discord, the State of South Carolina, any county or municipality, or any real law-enforcement, emergency-service, or government agency.
16. Service Availability and Technical Issues
SCNRP does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Community Services. The server, Discord, CAD, website, or other systems may experience downtime, maintenance, updates, bugs, data loss, performance problems, platform outages, or changes outside SCNRP's control.
SCNRP may restart, modify, restrict, remove, or replace any feature, department, vehicle, script, system, role, event, or service at any time.
SCNRP is not responsible for lost progress, lost in-game property, lost access, third-party account issues, hardware problems, internet issues, platform outages, or other technical matters beyond its reasonable control.
17. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
The Community Services are provided on an "as available" basis. SCNRP makes no guarantee that the services will always be secure, uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or free from harmful conduct by other users.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SCNRP, its owners, staff, volunteers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your access to or use of the Community Services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any right that cannot legally be limited or waived under applicable law.
18. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of Community Services, your infringement of another person's rights, or your unlawful conduct.
19. Changes to These Terms
SCNRP may update, revise, add to, or remove portions of these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted through an official SCNRP channel, website, Discord channel, or other Community Service.
Your continued access to or participation in SCNRP after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. Severability
If any portion of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that portion will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining portions of these Terms will continue in effect.
21. Contact and Support
For questions regarding these Terms, reports, appeals, support requests, or account concerns, contact SCNRP staff through the official South Carolina Network Roleplay Discord server.
By joining or continuing to participate in South Carolina Network Roleplay, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Community Terms of Service.
